Koh Tachai is located at the northern tip of the Similan Islands National Park and the latest addition to the coverage of the National Park area along with Koh Bon. Koh Tachai boasts spectacular white beaches and crystal-clear waters surrounding it.
According to National Geographic Society Koh Tachai is due to its remoteness among the top 10 diving destinations in the world. On the island you can trek the nature trail to spot hermits, various reptiles, and Nicobar pigeons. This ancient jungle is full of wonders and mysterious wildlife that is hard to find elsewhere.
Entry to this area is 500 THB / Adult, paid cash to the Park Rangers. Different rates apply for Thai nationals, foreigners, adults and kids.

The best time for yacht charters to Koh Ta Chai (Similan #11) is during the high season (November to April) with calm seas and clear skies. Low season (May to October) offers lower prices but occasional rain.
Bring sunscreen (reef-safe preferred), swimwear, a towel, sunglasses, and a waterproof phone case. Snorkeling equipment is provided on most yachts. Bring cash for the National Park fee (500 THB per adult foreigner).
The journey takes approximately 3.00 hours by private speedboat from Phuket, depending on departing marina, weather and sea conditions. Motor yachts take around 6.00 hours, and sailing catamarans approximately 12.00 hours.
